Alternatively, if you’re a good recruiter, you work your database, be it Boolean, Semantic or old fashioned guess work (which always seems to work). If you do none of these things, then you are not a recruiter. I don’t get it, but maybe that’s because my self-identity and my title are more or less intertwined, and no matter what’s in fashion, I can’t see calling my work recruiting – and myself a recruiter – ever going out of fashion.
