Socialrecruitment first emerged around a decade ago and has been gaining quickly importance ever since. It is the intersection between social media and recruitment – allowing companies to utilize data, which potential employees share online. Almost all recruiters nowadays employ it, albeit to a different extent.
From micro-applications to built-in portfolios, social media makes it easy for savvy recruiters to test an applicant’s creativity, vet candidates, and more. We interviewed several professionals from different companies to learn how they are using social media to recruit and this is what we learned.
